There are so many ways that ADHD can screw up your day so here are a few of the bigger tips to make your day a bit easier.
1. Preparing for Your ADHD Symptoms
Preparation is essential when you don’t know what ADHD has in store for you. Knowing what you have to do and by what time you have to do them is so important in actually sitting down and getting them done. Falling behind is so easy when your brain has trouble figuring out when to start and how to finish.

2. Eating away Executive Dysfunction
Protein is a lifesaver for when your brain just doesn’t want to work right. Protein is used by the brain to build up different neurotransmitters which help your brain make connections. Eating a diet high in protein can nip executive dysfunction in the bud before you ever feel the effects of it.

3. Breathing in Fresh Air Free of ADHD
Exercising, or even just being outside, can help improve focus and attention span dramatically. Just 20 minutes outdoors can improve your mood and your health in amazing ways. Doing this daily can keep your day free of the majority of ADHD symptoms and help you manage the rest.

4. Take Time for Yourself Your ADHD Demands It
Anyone knows that taking time for yourself to just relax and focus on your needs is the best way to continue building a good, successful life but if you have ADHD it is even more beneficial to create a “work-home” life balance. Meditation, yoga, reading, or even just walks are great ways to refocus your day when ADHD symptoms have embedded themselves in your day.

5. Medication
Methylphenidate
Lisdexamfetamine
Dexamfetamin
Atomoxetine
Guanfacine
These medications are the greatest course of action if you want permanent solutions to ADHD symptoms.
